A home screen for Android

A calmer phone, without giving up a useful one.

Yoga replaces a busy home screen with a quiet, text‑first launcher, and gives you gentle tools to use your phone on purpose. Awareness first. Friction only where you ask for it.

01 · The home screen

Your apps as words. The time as the hero.

Nothing glows, nothing badges, nothing asks for a tap. Your essential apps sit in clean type under a large clock, within reach of your thumb, and everything else is one swipe away.

  • Text-first home

Essential apps as clean type, bottom-aligned, in the size and alignment you choose.

  • Fast search

Swipe up for every app. The keyboard rises with the drawer, so you can type before it settles.

  • A quiet dock

Four apps you reach for most, around a search pill. Their icons in monochrome, so colour never pulls at you.

  • ProfilesPro

Work, reading or bedtime, each with its own home and its own apps.

02 · Awareness

Know where your time goes, without the guilt.

Yoga reads Android's own usage data, on your phone, and shows it calmly: a thin line on home, a neutral note when you are close to your limit, and a weekly look back.

  • A daily allowance

For the apps that pull hardest, with a quiet progress line on home. One allowance free; as many as you like with Pro.

  • Neutral reminders

A short, plain note when you are close to your limit or past it. No alarms, no shame.

  • Insights and weekly reportsPro

Late nights, longest breaks, unlocks and the apps that took the most, week over week.

  • The value of timePro

Optional. Set what an hour of your time is worth and see the illustrative value of time past your limit. Never treated as money spent.

03 · Intention

A breath between you and the feed.

Before a distracting app opens, Yoga asks for a few seconds and an optional reason. Most of the time, that is all it takes to put the phone down.

  • Mindful pause

A short countdown and a "What for?" before the apps you choose. Your recent reasons come back as one-tap chips.

  • TimeboxPro

Give a session a boundary. A gentle note when it ends, on the minute.

  • Focus and schedulesPro

Tuck distracting apps away and turn on Do Not Disturb, now or on a schedule.

  • Greyscale, on your terms

Over the limit, during focus or at bedtime. Colour returns when you are done.

  • Quiet notificationsPro

Hold notifications from the apps you pick, then read them together in a calm digest.

  • Yoga guard

Optional. Turn off YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, or give each a daily allowance. Regular videos stay.

04 · Looks

Three looks. One quiet idea.

Each look pairs its own typefaces with a single accent, in light and dark. Choose one below; this page changes with it, just as your phone would.

Light, dark or greyscale apply to every look. Or simply follow your phone.

05 · Privacy

Private by design, not by promise.

Yoga knows a great deal about how you use your phone. So it was built to keep all of it there: no account, no server, nothing to send.

07 · Questions

Before you switch.

Anything else, write to tuwi.developer@gmail.com. A person reads every message.

Which phones does Yoga work on?

Any Android phone running Android 8.0 or later. Yoga is not available for iPhone.

Can I go back to my old home screen?

Yes, at any time. Open your phone's Settings, then Apps, Default apps, Home app, and choose the one you had before. Uninstalling Yoga does the same and removes all of its data.

What can Yoga see on my phone?

Which apps you use, and for how long, from Android's usage data. If you turn on quiet notifications, Yoga holds the title and text of notifications from the apps you choose, on your phone, for at most a day. If you enable Yoga guard, it checks screen structure only in YouTube, Instagram and the browsers you allow, to recognise Shorts and Reels; that content is never stored or sent. Yoga never sees your contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Your home screen, search, dock, one allowance, the mindful pause and Shorts and Reels blocking keep working, free. Pro features pause and keep your settings, so buying later brings everything back as it was.

Will Yoga slow my phone or drain the battery?

Yoga is built to be light: plain text instead of icon grids, no background network traffic, and no polling when Yoga guard is off. It reads usage from Android's own records rather than watching constantly.
